Over the years, our dedicated training team at Academy Care has worked tirelessly to design bespoke courses tailored to our unique approach to care. These courses have been integral to the growth of our care professionals, bolstering their knowledge and confidence in delivering complex care services. Since bringing our training in-house a few years ago, we’ve seen a direct correlation between the quality of our training and the exceptional care provided by our team. 

 

Becoming an Advantage Accredited Centre is a testament to our commitment to excellence. This new status not only validates the quality of our existing courses but also grants us access to a vast library of additional accredited learning resources. These resources will be instrumental in enhancing our current offerings and ensuring that our training remains cutting-edge and fully compliant with evolving industry standards. 

In addition to expanding our course offerings, we are also growing our training team. Several team members are currently undergoing Train the Trainer courses in various mandatory, core, and specialty subjects. We are fortunate to have our Registered Manager, Christine, lead this initiative. Christine possesses a rare and highly specialised qualification that had been dormant for years but is now being put to excellent use. Under her guidance, our training team will be equipped with the latest knowledge, skills, and best practices, ensuring that they can deliver top-notch course content. 

 

Once our trainers are fully qualified and approved by Advantage, they will take on the responsibility of developing and delivering courses to our care professionals, with continuous support from Christine and our Head Trainer, Joanne.
