This week marks a huge week for Academy Care, as we move into our brand-new office. This is the fourth office in our short history and a necessary move for us to take, reflecting the continuous growth in hours, clients, and team members, as well as our ambition to expand into new locations and serve as many people as possible. 
47 Northgate has been our home since June 2020, starting with just three desks and some horrible yellow chairs, and look how we grew, in the final weeks there were 11 of us stuffed into that small space, with a dedicated storage area, meeting area and classroom training area too. Along the way, there have been many ups and downs, from plants being launched across the office, facing the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, loads of fantastic fundraisers dressed as dinosaurs and bunnies, the comings, and goings of so many incredible care professionals and administration team members, to the epitome of all achievements and achieving a ‘good’ rating from the CQC. There are so many incredible memories to look back on. 
The new office is much bigger (3x bigger in fact!) matching our high ambition for the next 5 years and beyond. We want Academy Care to continue to grow, in the number of clients we serve, the number of communities we serve, and the number of care professionals who work with us. Our ability to do this is made easier with a larger office, it allows us to expand the administration and operations team, it allows us to improve our classroom training facilities and it allows us to equip our team with a central hub to learn and socialise. 
We have just moved in, and whilst we are working as fast as possible to get this place to match our vision, we still have a bit of work to do to get the place decorated and all set up. Hopefully in the next few months, you will see lots of exciting changes take place, and if you have any ideas about how we can make the place work best for you, then please feel free to pass your ideas on. We no longer have a limit on space and want all of our employees, whether from in the office or out in the community to feel welcome. 
TWe are so excited for this next step in the journey of Academy Care, there’s plenty of big things to come and a brand-new office is just the beginning. Make sure to visit us soon we can’t wait to give you a tour and maybe even beat you at a game of pool.

Academy Care, are a domiciliary care company, providing support to individuals whom for reasons of ill health or disability, could benefit from long or short-term domiciliary care services in the comfort and familiar surroundings of their own home. Our highly trained, passionate carers, support people daily in their own homes, to optimise both their independence and wellbeing. 
We create tailored care plans to meet the needs of all our clients, working with the client, their family and any medical or social services to ensure that the client gets the very best care for them. We also continuously monitor these care plans to ensure that they are up to date with the needs of the client, as needs can change very quickly. 
We will work with you, the client’s family to deliver the care, helping to ensure that everyone involved is happy with the care being provided and that the client’s needs are being met through our service.
