At Academy Care, we are delighted to share the news that we have received a good rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) following their recent inspection. As a care provider, our goal has always been to deliver outstanding care, and we are thrilled to have achieved recognition for our hard work and commitment to excellence in care. 
 
The CQC is an independent regulator of health and social care services in England and inspects and regulates all care providers in the country. In early June, the CQC completed an unannounced inspection of our services, which resulted in us receiving a good rating across all areas assessed. 
 
The inspection process included a thorough look into the service that we provide, interviewing our care professionals and clients and scrutinizing our policies and procedures. The inspection criteria are stringent, and we are delighted that our service has met their high standards. 
 
 
 
 
The CQC assesses care providers based on five key areas, in which we were reviewed for four in total. We are now rated ‘good’ across the board in all key areas, which includes, Is the service safe? Is the service effective? Is the service caring? Is the service responsive? And is the service well led? 
 
The inspection report commented on the support Academy Care delivers to our clients within their own home, saying that “People were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives and staff supported them in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests”. It also stated, “People’s care and support plans reflected their range of needs and they received care that supported their identified needs”. Another point was that “People’s care was personalised and promoted their dignity and independence. Staff received appropriate training to deliver good quality care and support.” 
 
 
 
 
We are incredibly proud of our achievement, and it is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and commitment of every member of our team, who we are delighted share our values and vision as a company. They are highly trained, passionate about their role and absolutely committed to provide the highest quality of home care, to enable people supported by us to achieve their optimum state of health and wellbeing and allow them to maintain independence within their own home. 
 
We have put a lot of effort into developing a robust quality management system that focuses on continuously improving our services and meeting the changing needs of our clients. Our commitment to providing high-quality care has never wavered, and this rating is a recognition of the values that we uphold as a company. 
 
Achieving a good rating from the CQC reflects our commitment to deliver outstanding care and puts our service on the map as a care provider that puts quality at the forefront of everything we do. What a journey it has been to reach this standard, it makes all of those years of hard work, long hours and true dedication, worthwhile. We will continue to maintain our high standards and further improve our services, ensuring that we provide exceptional care for all our clients.
